The Drain Group is entering an exciting new phase of growth. As we prepare for this next chapter, we are announcing a change in our leadership. Our Managing Director, Tony Buchanan, will be leaving the business after many years of dedicated service.

Tony founded our business as Birmingham Drain Services back in 2008. What began as a small, local team built on fast response times and quality workmanship has grown into a major regional network.

From emergency drain unblocking and CCTV drain surveys to complex structural repairs and planned maintenance, the foundation Tony built has served thousands of domestic and commercial customers across the Midlands. We thank Tony for the dedication that shaped our team and our reputation.

As we look toward the future, we are pleased to share that Ian Hale will be stepping into the role of Director. Ian has grown within the business over many years, moving from operational roles into management and then into senior leadership positions. His knowledge, hands‑on experience, and leadership make him the ideal person to guide the business forward.

As The Drain Group continues to grow, including an upcoming expansion into the North, Ian is ready to lead with confidence and expertise.
