The Drain Group was established in 2019 as the parent company to unite and expand our family of trusted drainage services. The journey began during the credit crunch of 2008, when our now Managing Director, Tony Buchanan, a self-employed sole trader at the time, envisioned a local business dedicated to serving the people of Birmingham. This vision became a reality with the creation of Birmingham Drain Services, a company with a name and ethos deeply rooted in the local community.

Initially, our work focused on Birmingham, allowing us to build a strong reputation among local residents and businesses. As the company grew and gained recognition, opportunities arose from further afield. To meet the demand for contracts and clients outside of Birmingham, a new branch was needed. It was clear that a company called Birmingham Drain Services operating in Stratford-upon-Avon might confuse customers, and so Warwickshire Drain Services was born.

Recognising the increasing importance of drainage within the construction and utilities sectors, our services expanded further. This growth led to the formation of Staffordshire Drain Services and our newest addition, Worcestershire Drain Services, ensuring our expertise and resources are available across the West Midlands. Today, The Drain Group embodies this journey, offering professional and reliable drainage solutions through our family of brands.
